Looking for a Better Factory in Ars Electronica!

From 7 to 11 September, the great festival of art, technology and society, Ars Electronica, took place in the Austrian city of Linz. Better Factory was present in the programme of this edition, highlighting the value and benefits of collaboration between artists, industry and technology.

On 8 September, our partner Waag, represented by Lucas Evers, introduced the project and the Knowledge Transfer Experiments (KTEs) that drive these synergies as part of the project, and interviewed Better CNC Factory partners, our KTE led by Fiction Factory (Marije Remigius), with the collaboration of Jesse Howard and IAAC (Alexandre Dubor). It was very interesting to hear their testimony about their experience and their opinion about working together!

The session closed with the presentation of the 2nd Open Call, led by Paula Cervera, from Mobile World Capital Barcelona, who talked about the objective of the call and gave key indications for participation. Additional promotion was also possible during the STARTS Day, held on 9 September.

What a great occasion to meet again and make our project known!
