On the past 17-24 June, 2022, Better Factory was presented at Transylvanian Clusters International Week, held in Cluj, Romania.
This year’s edition of TCIW tackled the goal of striving to be competitive while also ensuring sustainability in business. The week-long event, powered by Northern Transylvania Cluster Consortium, has grown into an event that merges formal meetings with informal networking, innovation camp , round tables, factory visits, research presentations, hands-on workshops and everything else that makes sense for the growth of SMEs, entrepreneurs, academics and innovators in the cluster ecosystem.
This year, the Transylvanian Cluster International Conference also hosted the first Cluster Collaboration Lab (C2Lab) organised by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission. The C2Lab is an interactive workshop to develop project roadmaps to define solutions to the most critical disruptions in European supply chains. It is open to companies, clusters, financial providers, actors from the civil society, and other interested entities.
So far, the sixth previous editions of the conference have gathered over 1,200 participants from business, academia, research, public administration, and saw more than 200 remarkable speakers.
At this event, Better Factory was presented on two occasions:
• June 20th (15:00-17:00) = Q&A session on the project and the open call, with discussions with stakeholders on topics relevant both to the call and their interests
• June 22nd (10:00-12:30) = Pitch of the project and open call during the plenary session.
In particular, our project partners Rodolfo (In4Art) and Antonio Montalvo (FundingBox) presented the project (aims and objectives), followed by a long Q&A with questions from the audience. This activity was focused on answering individual questions on the open call process, potential partners, and defining challenges.
