The European Robotics Forum is being held this year in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, from 28-30 June 2022. This 3-day event is one of the most influential events for the robotics and AI community in Europe.

The forum is a unique meeting point for engineers, academics, entrepreneurs, investors, as well as end-users and policy makers in the field of robotics from all over Europe and beyond. Their 2400m2 exhibition floor will provide exhibitors and attendees an unique opportunity to interact in between the many talks, keynotes, panels and interactive activities.

S+T+ARTS and Better Factory

This year, Better Factory will attending the forum under the umbrella of S+T+ARTS, the European Commission initiative focused on Science, Technology and the Arts. In this way, we will share a booth with S+T+ARTS and fellow project Vojext.

S+T+ARTS Art-driven innovation in robotics

This session will provide an opportunity for participants to establish better understanding how companies can concretely benefit from developing new products and robotic technologies together with artists. The talk will be given by Johannes Braumman (Creative Robotics of University for Arts and Design Linz), followed by an interactive session and panel discussion.

Keynote and Origami Making with Better Factory (with Rodolfo Groenewoud van Vliet)

Interactive activity

During lunch break at the forum, we will be carrying out this informative and fun activity, with one of our expert project partners, Rodolfo Groenewoud van Vliet (In4Art). It will start with a keynote talk and overview of interesting and famous art and technology collaborations, followed by interactive questions and a short origami-making workshop. Each design will have illustrations related to robotics and art, and attendees can keep the origamis, or bring them to our booth to showcase. Any artists/SMEs that would like further information about our Open Call can also chat with us 1:1.
